The Event Concierge role at Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is a dynamic and vital position that serves as the connection between the Event Sales or Event Planning Manager and the on-site meeting contacts. Acting as the primary liaison, the Event Concierge ensures effective communication and smooth execution of event details. This role requires a detailed understanding of the hotel’s meeting facilities, careful attention to group dynamics, and the ability to respond proactively to special needs or requests from clients. The Event Concierge plays a critical role in the event experience, working in a fast-paced environment to satisfy and exceed the expectations of guests and internal teams alike.
This position demands strong interpersonal skills, refined verbal communication abilities, and physical stamina, including the capacity to stand for long periods and handle moderate lifting of approximately 25 pounds. Flexibility is key, as the Event Concierge must be willing to work varying schedules that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
