Eastmont is currently seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join their dedicated team. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness and sanitary maintenance of kitchenware and kitchen areas to support the effective operation of the dining services. The Dishwasher is responsible for scrupulously monitoring water temperatures and sanitizer solution levels, rinsing and scrapping dishware, and maintaining the cleanliness of pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. The Dishwasher also supports proper storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies, ensuring the area is organized and safe. Cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes, and waste removal are also part of the duties. In addition to maintaining operational hygiene standards, the Dishwasher may assist with delivering meal trays to residents when requested. This role is crucial to maintaining a safe and sanitary dining environment in compliance with health regulations and community standards. This position requires standing for extended periods in a hot environment and clear communication skills in basic English. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and able to pass a background check, which may involve health screening and a TB test.
