Drivers at MV Transportation are responsible for safely operating transit vehicles to provide timely and dependable public transportation to passengers. The primary objective of this position is to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of the riding public while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. Drivers are expected to conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and onboard equipment, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, communicate efficiently with dispatch or central office, and exemplify professionalism when assisting passengers, especially those with specific mobility needs. Beyond operating the vehicle, Drivers must demonstrate strong customer service skills by offering assistance during boarding and deboarding and responding calmly and effectively in emergencies. The company provides paid training for all new Drivers, ensuring comprehensive preparation for the responsibilities ahead. This position entails a starting pay rate of $22.75 per hour with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
