The position available is a full-time role serving as the primary administrative support for one of Gategroup's major clients' operations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth, efficient, and customer-focused management of daily activities related to flight operations and driver coordination. The administrative professional in this position will be responsible for analyzing data from specialized computer systems, preparing detailed driver run sheets for each flight, and making critical assignments such as allocating drivers to airport gates and flights. Monitoring the accuracy and quality of meals and cooler contents to meet customer specifications is a key responsibility, ensuring that the service delivered consistently meets established standards.
Additionally, this position requires attentiveness to details like monitoring drivers' kitchen departure times, tracking changes to flights, gates, meal orders, and other critical information. Acting as a backup supervisor, the role involves providing guidance on the ramp by relaying changes promptly, directing workflow, and resolving any customer issues that arise. Accuracy in reviewing completed run sheets is crucial to verify that all times, service levels, aircraft changes, and quantities adhere strictly to client requirements. The role also demands excellent communication skills to answer and log customer calls, concerns, or complaints, with the ability to recommend effective solutions to ongoing problems.
This job includes a rotating shift schedule, alternating between regular shifts and vacation relief shifts, which requires flexibility and adaptability from the candidate. Working within a warehouse environment, the candidate must be comfortable functioning in potentially hectic conditions, able to multitask efficiently, and maintain composure under pressure. The role also requires a valid driver's license with the ability to drive on the ramp, denoting responsibility and trust.

- H.S. diploma required
- associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years of general work experience in an office or warehouse facility
- 1 year of experience directing the work of others
- 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience preferred
- able to drive on the ramp (must be 21+ driver’s license)
