The Dishwasher role at Coastal Carolina Lodge is an essential position within the Food & Beverage team, primarily responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, including glassware, pots, pans, silverware, and other kitchen equipment. This position plays a vital part in supporting kitchen operations by ensuring that all utensils and kitchen items are thoroughly cleaned and safely stored to uphold hygiene and operational efficiency. The job operates under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef and requires close collaboration with various F&B employees. This full-time, hourly position offers a competitive salary range of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour and demands an individual who is capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume banquet environment. The role requires excellent time management and effective communication skills along with physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks that include lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing for extended periods. Dishwashers are responsible not only for cleanliness but also play a key part in waste management and kitchen safety, including trash removal and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, back dock, and dumpster areas. The job environment often extends to outdoor settings such as golf courses, tennis courts, pools, or sports centers in relation to private events or member activities, requiring some flexibility and adaptability from the employee.
