The Dishwasher position at the Luskin Conference Center plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the Plateia restaurant and the kitchen areas. This role involves cleaning dishware, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, refrigerators, and freezers. The Dishwasher ensures that all kitchen items and cooking environments meet health and safety standards, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the food service department. Beyond routine dishwashing duties, the incumbent assists with waste management by taking out the garbage and participates in deep cleaning activities to uphold sanitation protocols. Additionally, the Dishwasher supports kitchen staff by receiving and storing supplies from vendors, ensuring that inventory is organized and ready for daily use. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and to collaborate effectively as part of a team. Candidates are expected to communicate clearly in English, demonstrate professionalism, and engage respectfully with diverse populations. The Dishwasher must adhere to safety and sanitation standards, operate commercial dishwashing equipment proficiently, and possess knowledge of commercial kitchen cleaning methods and materials. This position offers variable working hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to meet departmental demands. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, live scan, and a pre-placement physical examination. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for employment.
