The role of Dishwasher at Colleton River Club is a full-time position primarily scheduled from Wednesday through Sunday during evening shifts, with mandatory availability on Sundays. This role is vital to maintaining the Club’s high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency in its culinary environment. Dishwashers are responsible for cleaning and storing all dishes, pots, and cooking equipment, ensuring the kitchen and its surrounding areas remain in pristine condition. The position requires physical stamina to perform tasks such as frequent bending, stooping, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and continuous standing and walking in a heat-sensitive kitchen setting. As a Dishwasher, you will be a key member of the culinary team, upholding sanitation standards and contributing directly to the smooth functioning of kitchen operations. Responsibilities include maintaining the order and cleanliness of kitchen floors—such as hallways, stairs, elevators, compartments, and walk-in cooler floors—as well as ensuring all automatic dishwashers are clean and operating efficiently. You will monitor chemical levels used in dishwashing processes and follow all standards communicated by the Executive Chef. • Prior dishwashing experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and understand professional kitchen sanitation standards
