The role of Director of Catering at Urbane Cafe is designed for a skilled leader who has a strong background in catering within a multi-unit company, preferably in a fast casual concept. The Director will partner with the executive team to develop the catering market by identifying and pursuing new leads, implementing sales-driven catering strategies, and monitoring performance metrics to identify growth opportunities. This role demands exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards for food safety and health compliance. The Director of Catering will also play a key role in community engagement by representing Urbane Cafe at local events and networking functions to promote catering services. They will oversee catering operations across various restaurant locations and large-scale events, traveling as necessary to provide hands-on support and ensure the highest level of service delivery. Leadership responsibilities include managing the catering team by providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. The Director will work closely with marketing to promote catering services through various channels and drive brand awareness. Financial stewardship is another critical component of this role, as the Director will be responsible for budgeting and financial planning within the catering department to ensure profitable operations. This position offers an attractive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year plus potential bonuses, reflecting the importance and scope of the role within the company. • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in catering, event planning, or food service management

• Proficiency with catering software and Microsoft Office Suite
