We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dining Room Server/Waitstaff to join our Dining Services department on a part-time basis, earning $17 per hour. This role is vital to maintaining the warm, inviting atmosphere characteristic of Maplewood Senior Living. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer experiences to residents, their families, and other visitors by assisting with meal services and maintaining the dining area. Reporting to the Chef, Dining Room Manager, or Culinary Services Director, you will be an essential part of the team focused on nutritional care, hospitality, and resident satisfaction.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with seniors, showcasing a genuine passion for serving this population. Experience in assisted living or other long-term care settings is preferred, as it helps deepen understanding and empathy toward the unique needs of our residents. This role involves preparing the dining room before service, assisting during meal times, and having knowledge of the daily menu to answer questions accurately. The ability to work collaboratively within a team and show excellent communication skills is crucial for success in this position.
