The Deployment Manager, Field Operations role at AeroVect is integral to the successful implementation of these advanced autonomous systems at customer sites. This highly visible leadership role requires a strong operational presence on the ground, combining field awareness with cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless day-to-day execution as well as long-term scaling of deployed solutions. The Deployment Manager will serve as the essential link between AeroVect’s internal teams—including engineering, product development, hardware, and safety—as well as the external customer stakeholders. They will align resources, drive accountability, and manage risks effectively to uphold the highest standards of safety and operational rigor throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Responsibilities include overseeing the entire deployment process from initial planning through execution and scale-up, maintaining proactive communication with leadership and customers, and enforcing a culture of urgency and continuous improvement. The role demands someone with proven experience in managing complex operations in regulated and safety-critical environments such as aviation, logistics, or robotics. The Deployment Manager will lead and develop a team of Autonomous GSE Operators, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and site protocols.
Candidates for this position should be comfortable navigating ambiguous situations, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with executive and customer stakeholders, and demonstrate superior organizational and leadership capabilities. The role also requires a U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass background checks necessary for access to secure airport environments.
