The role of Assistant General Manager at Crown Hotel & Travel Management, LLC is a pivotal position within the hotel’s organizational hierarchy. This role entails significant responsibilities, including hiring, training, and overseeing the hotel team, particularly front desk staff, to maintain exceptional service standards in line with the brand and management company’s policies. The Assistant General Manager must ensure smooth hotel operations, especially in the absence of the General Manager, by efficiently coordinating daily activities and special projects.
Key aspects of this role include close monitoring of payroll budgets to align labor costs with forecasts, handling scheduling, billing, and accounts receivable tasks, and actively resolving guest complaints with tact and professionalism. The Assistant General Manager will conduct regular staff meetings to foster communication, training, and morale, working collaboratively with other department heads to ensure seamless hotel operations.
This role demands a thorough understanding of hotel policies, safety regulations, and the ability to interpret and enforce these effectively among staff.
