This role focuses on bakery artistry and operations within the Brookshire Grocery Company stores. The Bakery Decorator position requires creativity fused with technical skill to design and decorate bakery products that appeal to customers and align with company standards. The employee will prepare, ice, and decorate cakes and other baked items, ensuring quality presentation for displays or customer-specific requests. Key responsibilities include tracing and copying drawings onto cakes using templates or freehand, meticulously matching and blending icing colors, and selecting appropriate decorating materials and tools. Time management and initiative are crucial, as the decorator will make quick decisions under pressure to meet production schedules tied to seasonal demands, store promotions, and community events.
