SBM Management is currently seeking a highly motivated and dependable Custodian/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join its team. This is an immediate opening for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within company facilities. The role demands a hardworking individual capable of working well with colleagues and customers alike, ensuring a positive and collaborative atmosphere. The Custodian/CSR is expected to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions while exercising good judgment in decision-making situations. In addition to typical custodial duties, this position may involve explaining work methods, aiding in training others, and demonstrating appropriate work processes. This full-time position provides an exciting opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, offering a competitive hourly wage of $19.00 to $20.00. The Custodian/CSR will be responsible for a variety of tasks including floor care such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting, along with surface care duties like dusting and sanitizing various surfaces including glass, mirrors, windows, metal, and wood. Additional responsibilities include waste removal, light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply areas, and maintaining compliance with safety protocols and company policies. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and customers. The ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor is crucial, as is the use of proper personal protective equipment when required. The Custodian/CSR will also be tasked with transporting small equipment and organizing common areas including lobbies and conference rooms. Cleaning duties extend to restrooms, break rooms, elevators, and upholstered furniture. This role demands a willingness to follow company guidelines meticulously while contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. • Reliable transportation
• Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read 2-3 syllable words
• Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
• Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
• Valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, proof of vehicle registration and insurance
