The role of Student Utilities at Upper Crust Food Service is integral to supporting the culinary team and ensuring the smooth operation of kitchen activities. - Ability to work well as part of a team
- Working knowledge operating a commercial dishwasher
- Familiar with the industry's best practices
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid food safety handler and sanitation certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
- High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods, up to 8+ hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capability to work in an environment with exposure to heat, cold, and cleaning chemicals
- Comfortable working in a loud and busy kitchen with hazards such as hot surfaces and sharp knives
