The role of Cook (Part-time) at CSI is an essential position where you will contribute directly to the health and well-being of children served by the organization. Based at the Mercy Road location in Omaha, NE, this role offers a weekday schedule from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with competitive pay starting at $18.50 per hour. Your primary responsibility will be the preparation and storage of nutritious meals that meet the rigorous food safety and regulatory standards required in child-focused settings. This means handling food with care, adhering to sanitation protocols, and ensuring that every meal supports the nutritional needs of the children served. You will maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, effectively manage meal prep timelines, and contribute to a warm, nurturing environment. - Own transportation that meets agency vehicle inspection requirements
