The Cook position at ISS Guckenheimer plays a vital role in the successful execution of meal preparation across multiple service periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all safety and quality standards while performing food preparation duties. The Cook is expected to fulfill prep lists and tasks according to production schedules, following recipes and guidelines set forth by supervisory kitchen staff such as Lead Cooks, Sous Chefs, or Executive Chefs. The role demands a strong understanding of kitchen organization, cleanliness, and the ability to work safely with large-volume culinary equipment, including slicers, mixers, food processors, blenders, and choppers. This full-time position involves working Monday through Friday from approximately 12:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The Cook must consistently uphold ISS Guckenheimer’s and their clients’ standards for quality and service, adhering strictly to workplace safety guidelines, Food Safety, HACCP, and internal audit policies every day. 
Additional responsibilities include maintaining communication with management regarding discrepancies in ingredient availability, safety concerns, or other issues requiring attention. The Cook will also be expected to attend daily meetings and contribute to ongoing team collaboration.                 - Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
 - Ability to work safely with large volume culinary equipment including slicer, large mixer, food processors, blenders, and chopper
 - Knowledge of food safety guidelines including HACCP
 - Ability to follow workplace safety policies, procedures and SOPs
 - Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
 - Capability to lift frequently up to 35 pounds
