We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced cooks to join our team at Piedmont Walton Hospital located at 2151 West Spring Street, Monroe, GA. This is a full-time position with a schedule primarily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm. The pay range for this role is between $15.50 and $16.50 per hour, reflecting the company’s competitive compensation package. The role requires at least three years of prior cooking experience, but we are also willing to train motivated individuals who show commitment and aptitude for food service. The role of a cook with Morrison Healthcare is vital in delivering quality, nutritious, and appetizing meals to patients, staff, and visitors of healthcare facilities. The cook’s responsibilities include preparing food according to established recipes, ensuring food is served at the correct temperature and in attractive presentation. Attention to detail and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety are expected. The cook will operate kitchen equipment and assist with production planning, inventory management, and reporting. Safety is paramount in this role; therefore, adherence to health codes, use of protective gloves and appropriate lifting techniques are mandatory.
