The company is currently hiring for a full-time Cook position located at Encompass Desert Canyon, 9175 West Oquendo Road, Las Vegas, Nevada. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $40.00, dependent on experience, and features a Monday through Friday work schedule with hours that may vary. This role is integral to providing high-quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors by adhering strictly to federal, state, and corporate food safety and preparation standards.
As a Cook with Morrison Healthcare, you will be tasked with preparing food using standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation. Your responsibilities will include portion control, temperature maintenance, and food safety compliance following HACCP guidelines. This role supports both the nutrition and comfort of healthcare consumers, ensuring meals are attractive, tasty, and safe. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, managing kitchen equipment, and assisting in inventory and ordering tasks. The Cook will work closely with the culinary team to uphold operational standards, participate in safety trainings, and foster collaborative relationships within the workplace.
