The role involves working in a food preparation capacity within the golf course's food service operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting meals using established methods and procedures while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. This includes operating and cleaning food service equipment, seasoning food appropriately, and knowing when foods are adequately cooked. The role demands a practical knowledge of various foods, their characteristics, and food handling practices necessary to deliver excellent food service.
The position emphasizes physical effort, requiring the ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted and occasionally handling heavier objects with assistance.
