The current opportunity is for a full-time Cook position located at Verizon - 7000 Weston Parkway in Cary, North Carolina. This role offers a work schedule from Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with more details to be provided during the interview process. As a Cook at Eurest, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food items prepared in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards. The position requires prior cooking experience and a dedication to maintaining food safety, quality, and presentation standards. Responsibilities include preparing meals following standardized recipes, portioning meals accurately, managing food temperatures, and ensuring that all food served is tasty and appealing. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively, and assisting in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies.
Beyond technical skills, the role demands a strong sense of safety and adherence to company policies, such as the use of protective gloves when handling knives and appropriate footwear to prevent slips and injuries. You will participate in ongoing training sessions focused on safety and service excellence and maintain respectful and cooperative relationships with coworkers, clients, and management.
