• At least one-year work experience as a cook in a restaurant or in a large volume food service program
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Ability to follow recipes while preparing meals
• Capability to ensure food is served at proper temperatures
• Knowledge and application of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to supervise and direct Dietary Assistants in the absence of the Dietary Director
• Compliance with safety rules and confidentiality policies
• Willingness to participate in staff meetings and trainings
