This position is full time and offers a competitive salary of $19.50 per hour with additional benefits outlined below. We are currently seeking a full-time Cook to join our team located at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. This role operates Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, providing a stable weekday schedule suitable for individuals seeking consistent hours. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in food preparation and kitchen operations, adhering to strict food safety regulations and corporate standards while ensuring exceptional food quality and service. Cook responsibilities involve preparing meals strictly following standardized recipes to maintain consistency and taste, proper portioning to meet outlined standards, and serving food at optimal temperatures in an attractive presentation. The Cook will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment, including the proper storage of food and supplies. Collaboration is key, as this role interacts closely with coworkers, management, and administrators to facilitate smooth kitchen operations and uphold safety standards. • Previous cooking or food service experience required
