The role at LakeHouse Senior Living involves serving as the welcoming presence at the community by greeting residents, guests, and employees, managing internal and external communications, and supporting daily operational activities that contribute to a smooth and organized environment. This position emphasizes customer service, administrative support, and organizational skills. The individual in this role handles telephone answering and message-taking duties, ensuring accurate communication between parties. They assist residents and visitors by providing directions, answering general inquiries, and coordinating appointments such as hairdresser visits or transportation services. Additionally, the role involves managing critical documentation, including resident phone lists, move-in and move-out registers, and meal ticket preparations, all vital to the day-to-day functioning of the community.
Beyond these responsibilities, the position includes supporting the marketing department by collating brochures, distributing mail, and maintaining neatness and order at the front desk and entry areas. Attendance to company policies, procedures, and personnel guidelines is essential, as well as performing other assigned duties to aid the community’s operational efficiency. This role is integral to ensuring that the front desk serves not only as an information hub but also as an inviting and organized point of contact for all community interactions.
