The Concierge role at Huntington At Symphony is a full-time position with schedules available from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. This role is pivotal in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Concierge acts as the first point of contact and a reliable resource for residents, managing visitor access, coordinating transportation for medical appointments, monitoring behaviors that may indicate mental health or addiction issues, and providing essential interventions to help residents maintain their tenancy. The position also involves liaising with property management to address physical building concerns and responding swiftly to emergency situations by deploying appropriate emergency services and internal resources. Beyond routine duties, the Concierge is responsible for logging incidents, communicating significant events to relevant staff, and participating in regular meetings to ensure seamless program operations. Training is provided to ensure that the Concierge is fully prepared to administer first aid or CPR when necessary and handle other crucial responsibilities effectively. • Applicants should possess awareness and sensitivity towards issues surrounding AIDS, mental health, and substance use
• Experience in human services and crisis intervention is essential
• Candidates must have a background in providing behavioral health services to LGBTQ+ youth of color and their allies
• Candidates should either have certification in CPR/First Aid or be willing to participate in training
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, HIV/STI, and related public health and social service topics is required
