This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that the dining environment meets the highest standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. The role involves preparing the dining area before service and maintaining it throughout peak hours by cleaning tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations. The ideal candidate will have a personal commitment to safety and adhere strictly to company policies regarding the use of safety equipment such as medium weight cut gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes. Efficient handling of dishwashing duties, including washing dishes, glasses, and pots by hand or machine, is fundamental to keep the service flow smooth and compliant with sanitation standards. Additional responsibilities include assisting with receiving heavy deliveries and transporting them safely to designated storage areas, ensuring proper presentation and portion control of food items, and following HACCP guidelines to maintain food safety. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to upholding a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers.
