The Supervisor position within ABM is a vital leadership role responsible for the direct oversight of front-line employees in a specific service line. This role involves ensuring that productivity and customer service standards are consistently met while reinforcing compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements established by ABM, its clients, and applicable authorities. This position carries an hourly pay range from $20.00 to $22.00, with specific offers dependent on factors such as education, experience, skills, geographic location, and market alignment. Supervisors may also be eligible for participation in company incentive or bonus programs. In this role, the Supervisor manages staffing levels and daily schedules with support from Human Resources, ensuring adequate coverage for vacations, days off, and call-offs. They coordinate with client representatives to address operational needs and adapt to fluctuations in staffing requirements. The Supervisor is tasked with enforcing policies such as the No-Fault Attendance Policy and fostering a positive, professional work environment. Responsibilities include coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees effectively, maintaining communication with other managers and supervisors, and upholding safety and security standards. Additionally, the Supervisor performs administrative and payroll functions when applicable and is expected to maintain detailed daily shift reports. The work environment may involve moderate noise levels, and physical demands include standing, walking, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED at minimum; a college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Prior management experience is also favored. Employees must be at least 18 years old, meet all requirements for necessary security badges, and comply with ABM’s grooming standards and corporate policies.
