Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites nationwide. With the rise of an aging population, increasing rates of obesity and diabetes, and a surge in surgical procedures, the demand for expert wound care is rapidly growing. Healogics is dedicated to delivering differentiated, quality outcomes through outpatient clinic partnerships to help as many patients as possible who suffer from non-healing wounds. The company's commitment to patient care excellence and innovative treatment methods makes it a leader in the advanced wound care industry. This dual-role position is essential in streamlining workflows, ensuring exceptional patient care, and facilitating effective communication within the care team. The Clinical Patient Navigator is responsible for managing front-office functions, coordinating with center leadership to optimize patient flow, overseeing scheduling and insurance verification, and assisting clinical staff with wound-related care under the guidance of registered nurses or healthcare providers. Employees at Healogics are expected to adhere strictly to all company policies, hospital regulations, and federal and state healthcare standards, including guidelines from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The role requires an individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Clinical Patient Navigator will also play a crucial part in patient interactions, including greeting patients, handling communications, and supporting the clinical team by preparing necessary equipment and documentation. Healogics recognizes and rewards the dedication of their staff, offering competitive compensation, with the hourly rate for this position ranging between $20.19 and $26.61 depending on qualifications, experience, and location. This role is perfect for someone with a background in medical assisting or related fields who desires a meaningful career contributing to patients' health and recovery in a supportive and professional environment.
