The Vice President, Field Operations - Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) role is a critical leadership position within Hyatt Hotels Corporation, tasked with overseeing a portfolio of business hotels and resorts in a vibrant and diverse region. This role blends strategic leadership with the hands-on execution of operational excellence, brand stewardship, and owner relations. The Vice President is responsible for ensuring that the properties under their guidance meet robust financial and operational targets while delivering guest experiences that resonate with the multicultural fabric of Latin America and the Caribbean.
This role entails working closely with General Managers and multi-market teams, providing mentorship and coaching to foster strong leadership capabilities and succession readiness within the region. With a focus on business performance and cultural authenticity, the Vice President ensures Hyatt's global standards are adapted and honored in alignment with local cultures and traditions. Additionally, this leader manages strategic capital planning, oversees hotel openings, rebranding, and transitional initiatives, and cultivates transparent relationships with ownership groups to drive long-term growth and partnership success.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $208,500 to $278,000 annually, augmented by eligibility for an annual bonus. - 15+ years of operations leadership in hotels and/or resorts
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a General Manager
- Strong ability to build and sustain owner relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- Multilingual fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
- Prior leadership experience across Latin America and the Caribbean
- Proven track record of success in multicultural market environments
