As a Chef at Paradigm Treatment Centers, part of the Altior Healthcare network, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients' rehabilitative journey by creating and curating menus that meet a variety of dietary and nutritional needs. Your culinary creativity will be integral in offering meals that cater to specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and low-sodium options, ensuring that nutritional requirements are met while keeping meals flavorful and exciting. The chef position involves managing culinary budgets, overseeing kitchen maintenance, and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards, all crucial for maintaining the highest quality of food service.
This role offers exciting opportunities to work autonomously in menu development, mentor adolescents and young adults, and apply your culinary expertise in a meaningful way that supports mental health recovery. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of professional cooking or culinary experience
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 10 am to 6 pm
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgeting and inventory
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a mental health treatment environment
