Operating as a part-time employment setting, Tetsumen is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Cook who is passionate about Japanese cuisine and eager to contribute to the kitchen's success. The pay starts at $19.10 per hour, with performance-based raises and tips, along with an employee meal per shift being part of the compensation package. This part-time role is expected to offer 20-25 hours per week, providing flexibility as well as excellent opportunities for skill development and long-term growth within the company. 
As a Cook at Tetsumen, you will play an essential role in preparing and assembling a variety of traditional ramen and side dishes with meticulous attention to detail following precise recipes. This role requires a commitment to upholding high standards of food quality and presentation while following strict health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will extend beyond cooking to supporting both back-of-house and front-of-house operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, serving, taking orders, and handling customer queries by phone. The role demands strong knife skills, efficiency, and a fast-paced work ethic to meet the restaurant's dynamic tempo. Additionally, you will assist in inventory control to reduce waste and maintain proper ingredient stock levels, along with keeping the kitchen clean and organized. Tetsumen values employees who seek long-term commitments, as this position requires a minimum of one year of employment. Employees must be available to work 2-4 days per week, including weekends, with the possibility of progressing to earlier opening or preparatory shifts.
