The Fleet Manager role at PSA Airlines is a critical position responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of flight standards concerning PSA's Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Regional Jet (MHIRJ) fleet, which includes the CR7 (CRJ-700, CRJ-701, CRJ-702) and the CRJ-900 aircraft. This position involves managing and revising key operational manuals such as the CRJ Pilot Operating Handbook (POH), Quick Reference Handbook (QRH), and Quick Reference Card (QRC), making sure all content complies with FAA regulations and industry best practices. The Fleet Manager plays a vital role in bridging communication between PSA and aircraft manufacturers and other regulatory bodies to maintain operational excellence. Additionally, they oversee operational engineering aspects like performance, weight, and balance, and ensure third-party vendors meet regulatory standards. This supervisory position also includes leading the FAA-approved Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) program and participating in safety management systems to uphold PSA's renowned safety culture. Success in this role requires someone capable of promoting a positive, professional work culture, collaborating across multiple departments, and demonstrating expert knowledge of PSA manual systems and CRJ aircraft specifics. As a position within a professional office environment, the Fleet Manager role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure high standards are consistently met across PSA Airlines' fleet operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a 121 flight instructor-simulator or Line Check Airman
- Demonstrated knowledge of PSA manual systems and the CRJ aircraft
- Experience with managing programs
- One or more years’ experience leading aviation professionals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Authorized to work in the U.S
