The current opportunity is for a Catering Sales Manager to join the Dallas Catering and Events Division, a pivotal role that focuses on leading sales efforts and enhancing the company’s offsite catering business. The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business development, cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution. Responsibilities include attending industry and networking events to build connections, telemarketing, as well as targeted outreach to competitor clients to expand Proof of the Pudding’s market share. The ideal candidate possesses a professional demeanor coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to creatively develop menus and event proposals tailored to clients’ unique needs. They will demonstrate strong leadership in managing the sales process from initial client contact through event completion and billing, ensuring every detail meets the company’s high standards. This role requires the individual to be tech savvy, especially with event management and sales software such as Caterease, and comfortable working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as the event schedule demands.   • Must have three plus years of food and beverage or hospitality sales background
  • Experience in off-premise catering sales is strongly encouraged

  • Experience with BEO software and Caterease preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Programs and Canva preferred
