We are currently seeking a full-time Cashier to join our team during either the morning shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) or the afternoon shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM). This hourly position offers a competitive rate of $18.00 plus tips. The Cashier will play an integral role in delivering outstanding service to our customers by accurately processing orders, promoting products, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Candidates must be comfortable using a Point of Sale (POS) system and capable of working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are paramount. As a Cashier at Urth Caffe, you will be the first point of contact for guests in store or on the phone, responsible for providing a positive experience that encourages repeat visits. You will assist customers with menu inquiries, suggest additional items to maximize sales, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied. Physical requirements for the role include the ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain, work in cold temperatures, and perform various physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
