The role of a Checkout Attendant at WinCo Foods is integral to sustaining the company’s reputation for exceptional customer service and efficient operations. This position involves friendly and cooperative interaction with both internal teams and external customers at retail locations that operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with limited exceptions. The Checkout Attendant is responsible for accurately processing customer orders at two-aisle check stands, multi-station self-checkout lanes (SCO), or customer service desks, depending on assignment, ensuring transactions are handled in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. General shifts for this role range from 6 to 8 hours, scheduled between early morning at 5:00 a.m. and late night at 1:00 a.m., accommodating WinCo’s round-the-clock service schedule. The position calls for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, can engage customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, and adheres strictly to company policies and legal regulations regarding the sale of restricted items.   • Must be at least 16 years of age
