We are currently seeking an Executive Chef who possesses a passion for scratch cooking and delivering exceptional dining experiences to join our award-winning culinary team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a talented group of culinary professionals and drive the innovative, chef-inspired Signature Dining Programs that set Eagle's Trace apart. The successful candidate will bring strong hospitality experience, financial acumen, and expertise in multi-unit operations, contributing to the continued excellence of our food service offerings. This leadership position is well-suited for a culinary expert with a proven track record in team development, food quality, and presentation.
The Executive Chef role at Eagle's Trace involves overseeing the entire culinary operation, including food purchasing, preparation, and presentation within established budgets. You will supervise food production and utility staff to ensure efficiency and maintain high standards of quality. Managing the core menus, recipe systems, and back-of-house computer systems is a key responsibility, along with ensuring kitchen and equipment sanitation through regular internal audits. Compliance with all federal and state food safety regulations, such as Health Department and HACCP standards, is critical to this position.
Furthermore, the Executive Chef will collaborate with the Unit Manager to address and resolve any food service issues promptly, ensuring consistent food quality and appealing presentation that meets the expectations of our residents. Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with residents through dining room visits and meetings will also be an essential part of your role, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. This leadership position offers a competitive starting salary of $94,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.                 - minimum of 3 years executive chef experience
 - knowledge of ala carte and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and food presentation
 - good knowledge of PC software and POS systems
