The Call Center Agent will play a crucial role in preserving the clinic’s reputation for high-quality service by handling telephone communications efficiently and professionally. This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing consistent daytime hours that accommodate a healthy work-life balance. The Call Center Agent’s primary responsibility is managing incoming calls in a clear, courteous, and professional manner, ensuring each caller’s needs are met with empathy and efficiency. They will direct calls to the appropriate departments or personnel, manage scheduling by making, canceling, or rescheduling patient appointments, and collect, verify, and input demographic information into state-of-the-art computer systems while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines. Additionally, this position may require making outbound calls as necessary, maintaining patient records accurately, and collaborating closely with physicians, coworkers, and patients to ensure smooth communication flow within the clinic’s operations.
