The role of Server aboard American Cruise Lines for the 2026 cruising season is an exciting, temporary position lasting approximately 28 weeks. Servers are entrusted with providing an elegant and memorable dining experience on board, working across the ship’s hotel and restaurant facilities. Servers will handle breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour service by managing table setups, serving food and beverages, and catering to guests’ culinary requests with efficiency and professionalism. - Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to work long shifts of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Able to perform moderate physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing and extended standing or walking
- Mandatory pre-employment drug testing including marijuana and controlled substances
- Prohibition on alcohol consumption during employment
- Commitment to following grooming standards limiting visible tattoos and piercings
- Ability to participate in emergency and safety training
- Willingness to work in a temporary position not exceeding 28 weeks
