The Restaurant / Entertainment Manager role at Lucky Strike is a dynamic and active position essential to the day-to-day operations of the center. This role entails overseeing multiple aspects of both restaurant and entertainment functions within the center, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service while enjoying bowling, arcade games, amazing parties, and delicious food. Restaurant / Entertainment Managers assist the General Manager in managing all facets of their locations and are expected to step up and take full responsibility in the General Manager’s absence. This means managing everything from the property and equipment to entertainment and food and beverage departments.
The ideal candidate is someone passionate about guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence. Beyond coordination and problem-solving on the floor in real time, Restaurant / Entertainment Managers are entrusted to maintain high standards of guest service, lead and motivate a team of hourly staff, and maximize sales opportunities through league play, open bowling, and special events. If you aspire to progress to a General Manager role, this position provides comprehensive exposure and valuable experience toward that goal.
In this capacity, the manager must balance the demands of scheduling staff to align with customer flow, fostering a positive and productive team environment, and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth. They cultivate and maintain relationships with league bowlers and officers to support league growth, organize league announcements, and perform related administrative duties. Attention to detail in delivering consistent food and beverage quality, training team members on corporate initiatives, and encouraging a thriving sales culture are central components of the role.
Committing to flexibility is critical, as the manager will work varying shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed. The work environment is a lively entertainment venue requiring physical stamina to walk, bend, stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift objects with some assistance. Candidates with at least two years of management experience in kitchen, bar, restaurant, or food service operations are preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree is desirable, along with strong team leadership and people development skills. Proficiency in POS register systems and a customer service mindset are essential.
