We are currently seeking a responsible and safety-conscious individual to operate Canobie Lake Park's 40-foot pontoon boat, named the Blue Heron. This role is critical to the park's aquatic attraction experience. The Blue Heron is operated in conjunction with a dock attendant and rope handler, making teamwork and communication essential components of the job. Operating the Blue Heron entails managing the boat safely and efficiently while ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers throughout their ride. This position requires working outdoors for the entire shift, regardless of weather conditions such as sun, rain, or wind, demanding physical endurance and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment. 
The job is physically demanding, involving frequent bending, lifting, and occasionally climbing stairs, thus requiring a good level of physical fitness. A valid Commercial Boating License is a mandatory requirement for this position, ensuring the operator has the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the boat safely. Canobie Lake Park facilitates training courses and the Commercial Boating License exam to prepare candidates suitably for this responsibility.
