The Assistant Manager (AM) position at Burger King plays a crucial role in supporting the Restaurant Manager by overseeing the daily operations of a single restaurant.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Minimum one year of leadership experience in a Burger King restaurant or a comparable work record preferably in restaurant or retail/hospitality industry
  • Proficient English language skills
  • Proficient math skills
  • Completion or willingness to complete internal certifications such as Guest Service Expert, Basic Management Training and Serve Safe Essentials
  • Completion or willingness to complete Anti-Harassment Training and HR Legal Compliance Training within sixty days
  • Ability to work long and/or irregular hours including extra shifts as needed
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards
  • Ability to manage cash and financial reports
