American Airlines is seeking fluent Spanish and English-speaking Flight Attendants for our Miami (MIA) base, the gateway to Latin America. This is a critical role on our international routes, ensuring seamless communication and superior service for our global passengers. Core Responsibilities: In addition to all standard safety and emergency duties, you will be a language specialist on board. You will make bilingual (Spanish/English) announcements, assist passengers with translation, and provide a warm, culturally-aware service, especially in our 'Flagship' premium cabins. Qualifications & Requirements: Applicants must be at least 21, have the legal right to work in the US, and hold a valid passport. Fluency in both English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) is mandatory and will be verified by a language proficiency test. 2+ years of customer service or sales experience is required. Training & Work Schedule: This position begins with our 8.5-week paid training in Fort Worth, TX. This role requires full flexibility for a variable international roster, which includes long-haul 'night shift' flights, as well as 'weekend' and holiday assignments to our destinations in South and Central America. Compensation & Benefits: This role offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual base from $40,000 to $65,000, plus a language pay differential.
