This job opening is for a part-time Bartender position at the Warren Conference Center & Inn / Henry's Place located at 529 Chestnut Street in Ashland, Massachusetts. The role offers an hourly pay rate of $16.00 and includes benefits such as free meals, uniforms, and laundering services at select locations. The schedule is part-time with days and hours varying, details of which will be provided during the interview process. The Bartender position is crucial in creating an enjoyable guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient beverage service. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with state, federal, and corporate liquor laws. This includes responsibly checking guests’ identification to ensure legal service and monitoring for guest intoxication. Bartenders will also maintain the bar inventory, stock supplies, clean glassware, and ensure the bar area remains attractive and organized. This role requires prior restaurant and bartending experience, highlighting the importance of professionalism, product knowledge, and a passion for hospitality. The bartender must be able to work independently while cooperating with other team members to support overall service excellence. Duties extend from mixing drinks to managing cash transactions properly and securing the bar area at closing. The position also involves handling perishables and garnishes to maintain product quality, as well as complying with all health and safety standards.
