Currently, the Doubletree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport is seeking a talented and passionate Barista to join its morning shift team starting at 5:30 am. This role is perfect for individuals who have experience in a coffee house setting and possess an exceptional passion for customer service. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages and grab-and-go food items accurately and efficiently, processing transactions including cash, credit card, and room charge payments using the POS system, and performing essential opening and closing duties. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness and organization, completing paperwork related to cashier duties at the end of the shift, and staying informed about local events and property details to assist guests effectively. Exceptional guest service is the cornerstone of this role, and the Barista must consistently provide a warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable service experience to every guest. The position demands physical endurance as it requires standing for long periods, often up to eight hours. Candidates must be available for morning shifts and weekends, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
