The Seasonal Barback role at the Hotel del Coronado is a vital position within the Food & Beverage team at the Ocean Club. This position supports bartenders by ensuring that all bar areas are fully stocked, clean, and running efficiently to deliver excellent guest service and financial profitability. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar support role such as Server Assistant or Food Runner, along with customer service experience and exposure to fine dining, luxury, or upscale environments. Working as a Barback requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include preparing the bar by managing garnishes and drink supplies, stocking necessary items such as glassware, ice, and condiments, and maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards. The position is seasonal and requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Compensation for this role starts at $21.28 per hour, commensurate with experience and location.
