As a vital part of the food and beverage service staff, the Barback will assist bartenders in delivering exceptional service to guests while upholding meticulous standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout operational hours. This position demands a team-oriented approach, as the Barback must collaborate effectively with coworkers and management to ensure every guest feels valued from the moment they enter until they leave the establishment. The Barback is responsible for preparing the bar section ahead of scheduled times, maintaining product stock and rotation, handling cleaning duties, and adhering strictly to all state and company regulations regarding alcohol service. Additionally, the role requires excellent communication skills, a positive and professional demeanor, and the ability to perform the job efficiently under pressure and high volume conditions. Cosm places great emphasis on ongoing employee development and training, expecting the Barback to participate in scheduled food, bar, and service training sessions.
