Barback - Full-time

We are currently seeking a dedicated Barback to join our team. This vital role involves supporting the bartenders by ensuring the bar area is impeccably clean, fully stocked, and ready to serve guests at all times. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the flow of service behind the scenes, assisting in restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and upholding strict health and sanitation standards. This full-time position is integral to the seamless operation of our bar, requiring attention to detail, proactive service, and a friendly demeanor. As a Barback, you will prepare bar recipes according to brand specifications and anticipated business needs, handle mug rotation to ensure ample frozen mugs, and perform detailed cleaning tasks of bar equipment and supplies. You will support bartenders by managing the supply of products including wine, champagne, beer, liquor, and perishables, and contribute to a clean and organized work environment in line with Health Department standards. Additional duties include receiving deliveries, stocking server wells, preparing garnish caddies, clearing tables in the absence of servers, and maintaining various cleaning and organizational duties specific to storage and service areas. The ideal candidate must be proactive in maintaining a consistent flow of service, take responsibility for cleaning and organizing pump rooms, coolers, and storage areas, sweep and mop floors, clean soda bag-in-box hoses and nozzles, handle draught beer keg replacements, and participate actively in all required training sessions. Customer satisfaction is a priority, and you will engage positively with guests by providing friendly service and answering questions to enhance their experience.
