The Barback position at Flo Lobby Lounge is a full-time, year-round role that supports the bartending and service teams by maintaining an efficient and organized bar operation. This role is pivotal in the behind-the-scenes functioning of the lounge, responsible for replenishing supplies such as liquor, wine, beer, ice, glassware, and garnishes throughout service, polishing and rotating glassware to meet the resort’s high sanitation and presentation standards, and assisting with setup and breakdown tasks including moving kegs and bar equipment. As a Barback, the individual plays a crucial role in ensuring bartenders can focus on delivering top-tier service by enabling smooth, uninterrupted operations. The position requires flexibility for on-call shifts during peak service hours, private events, and periods of high volume within the resort, emphasizing seamless teamwork and communication throughout the lounge and kitchen areas. Additionally, maintaining hygiene standards and compliance with alcohol handling regulations such as Utah DABS and local health department mandates are essential responsibilities. The position offers a competitive pay rate starting at $14.00 per hour plus tips, reflecting the value placed on quality support staff in this luxury environment. • Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality support role preferred
• Knowledge of bar operations, beverage products, and inventory procedures desirable
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management abilities
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely and efficiently
• Basic understanding of responsible alcohol handling and Utah DABS regulations
• Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server Permit required or ability to obtain upon hire
• Positive attitude, reliability, and professional appearance required
