The Bakery Associate role at BGC is a customer-facing position responsible for packaging, labeling, and pricing bakery products while maintaining stock levels and product quality. This role plays an essential part in ensuring food safety and quality standards through the proper handling, stocking, and rotation of baked goods. The Bakery Associate assists bakery personnel in preparing bakery items, packaging these products, labeling them accurately, and maintaining attractive and organized product displays. Additionally, the role involves promoting bakery products through suggestive selling techniques, stacking pallets efficiently, sorting products according to company standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Candidates for this position will work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
