Located at UMASS Dartmouth, Compass Group is currently recruiting for a part-time Baker position at 285 Old Westport Rd, North Dartmouth, MA 02747. This role offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic team committed to culinary excellence within a campus setting. The part-time schedule includes varying days and shift times encompassing both mornings and evenings, with weekend availability required. The Baker is responsible for preparing a wide range of baked goods including breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries according to detailed recipes and production specifications. Candidates will work closely with production planning to meet daily requirements and ensure consistency in quality, portion control, presentation, and adherence to food safety procedures. The role requires maintaining sanitation and orderliness of equipment, utensils, and workstations and managing appropriate food handling and safety regulations. Bakers interact with customers, resolve complaints professionally, and communicate relevant feedback to supervisors.
