We are currently hiring full-time Bakers at the University of Maryland - Baltimore County. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a wide array of baked goods including breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and pastries in accordance with established recipes and production specifications. This role requires early morning shifts from Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, allowing you to be part of the team responsible for delivering fresh, high-quality products to campus dining venues each day. Although prior baking experience is preferred, willing to train individuals are encouraged to apply, reflecting our investment in developing talent and supporting career growth. Bakers work closely with production teams to plan daily outputs and ensure all food preparation adheres to approved standards for quality, portion control, presentation, and hygiene. The role involves maintaining clean and orderly workstations, handling food safely, and addressing customer feedback in a professional, service-oriented manner. Additionally, Bakers contribute to accurate production recordkeeping and waste tracking, helping to optimize operations and minimize losses.
